Practice and programmes

From local projects to national programmes we work with partners to implement the changes that make childhood better.

All our major projects and programmes involve working in partnership to drive change throughout the system and deliver a better childhood.

We’re working with every local authority in England, and across Government in Northern Ireland. We’re able not only to influence the formation of major legislation such as the SEND reforms in the Children and Families Act, but also to lead the development of guidance, training  and practical tools to support their implementation.

  • Building integrated, child-centred health and mental health services

We want to tackle the root issues affecting our children’s mental and physical health and wellbeing, making sure they get the support they need at the right time.

    More
  • Developing effective social care services

Children’s social care is about changing lives. We're here to help the workforce provide support and intervention at the right time, in the right way.

    More
  • Focusing on the early years

We want every child to get the best start in life, because we know that the early years are the foundation on which their future life chances are built.
